The problem is this caused the Linux version to miss out on advanced OpenGL 4 features because for whatever reason Mac is limited to OpenGL 3.2 or something, no doubt because Macs are so closed and small and controlled and you probably just can't expect a whole lot. It was developed by Ukrainian studio 4A Games and published by Deep Silver for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in May 2013. A sequel to the video game Metro 2033, its story follows Artyom, a young soldier living in the Moscow Metro after a devastating nuclear war. Tasked with finding the mysterious Dark Ones, Artyom must venture to different parts of the metro system, and the surface filled with radiated gases, and fight against different factions and mutated monsters. The game improves on various gameplay mechanics of 2033, and introduces elements such as weapon customization.
Developed by a team of about 80 people, Last Light is a direct sequel to 2033, with franchise creator Dmitry Glukhovsky writing the game's dialogue and main story outline. Multiplayer modes were planned but were eventually scrapped in order to focus on single-player, which the developers hoped would 'rekindle memories of Half-Life 2'. Originally set to be published by THQ, which provided a very limited budget for the game's development, Koch Media acquired it after THQ's bankruptcy. A Wii U version was planned but was ultimately canceled.
The game received generally positive reviews from critics. Praise was focused largely on its atmosphere, world design, tone, graphics, and gameplay, while criticism was directed particularly at the artificial intelligence and technical issues. The pre-order bonus Ranger mode, marketed as the definitive way of playing the game, triggered controversy. The game was a commercial success, with its first-week retail sales in the United States surpassing the lifetime retail sales of 2033. The game's novelization written by Glukhovsky was published as Metro 2035 in 2015. A remastered version of the game was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in August 2014 as Metro: Last Light Redux within the Metro Redux package. It was released for Nintendo Switch in February 2020. A sequel, Metro Exodus, was released in 2019.

It’s a prison break game focusing on two men detained in an American prison, Vicent for murder and Leo for stealing. Are you ready for the action?
A Way Out Mac OS X presents the two men quit different personalities. Vincent is a cool-headed strategist who solves problems using his words rather than his physical power. Leo is a young hothead who prefers to strike first and let the questions for later. An important thing is that you cannot affect their character choices. You and another player must surrender to the narrative. Being the two prisoners, you and another player have to complete a series of tasks like bypassing metal detectors, crawling inside hollowed-out walls, sneaking past security guards. The prison offers tutorial for a large variety of co-op tasks. One of them is the classic two-man ledge boost. One man climbs on the other to get to the high ground and then after that, he pulls his buddy up behind him.
In A Way Out Mac OS X, things get harder than that. For example, in one scenario, Vincent has to knock on the wall behind his bed to distract a guard. This way Leo can sneak past. When both of them are recuperating in the same prison hospital room, Vincent must distract the nurse so Leo creeps out of bed, gets an object and returns to bed. It is interesting that in A Way Out both players are free to talk with other characters and also progress at their own pace mostly of the time. You need to know that Leo and Vincent have to coordinate every move they do in order to survive.

It’s interesting to talk to the same NPC with Leo and Vincent separately, one after the other. The conversations usually turn out the same way but the path of the chats are completely different. Also it is good to know to be careful when you have the choice to handle a tense moment because of the two men almost opposite personalities. For instance , dealing with a curious police officer, Leo wants to knock him out while Vincent is the one faking a highly contagious illness.
